JEWELLERY CARE GUIDE

GENERAL CARE:
Clean your MOLTEN kind jewellery using a mild soap and water, pat dry with a microfibre cloth. DO NOT rub.
A microfibre cloth, lens cloth or jewellery cloth can be gently used to remove any tarnish or oxidisation and restore the shine to your piece(s).
To increase the longevity of your MOLTEN kind jewellery, please remove during physical activities and while sleeping to minimise accidental damage. Remove jewellery when coming into contact with chemicals such as chlorine, as well as cleaning and haircare products.
It is advised to remove your jewellery before showering, bathing or swimming. Our solid silver jewellery is water safe, although pieces with pearls can be water sensitive.
Store your jewellery in a dry, dark, cool, air-tight area such as your MOLTEN kind jewellery pouches that come with your pieces. It is advised to clean your piece(s) before storing away. Continuous exposure to heat, light and moisture can accelerate the tarnishing process in silver.
Accidental damage or misuse causing scratches and dents to MOLTEN kind jewellery may impact the overall shine and finish of both the rhodium and 14k or 18k yellow gold plating.
If your piece(s) has adornments such as stones, crystals or pearls, please ensure to always refer to the care guide for the specific adornment found on your MOLTEN kind piece(s).

RHODIUM PLATED 925 STERLING SILVER PIECES:
- A silver polishing cloth can be used on our silver tone pieces to remove any oxidisation. These pieces have been plated with rhodium to increase the longevity of their shine. Oxidisation can occur when sterling silver reacts to natural and synthetic chemicals in the air and on your skin.

UNPLATED 925 STERLING SILVER PIECES:
- A silver polishing cloth can be used on our silver tone pieces to remove any oxidisation. These pieces have not been plated to give a more raw and natural silver finish, with slightly less shine. These pieces may oxidise faster than our rhodium plated pieces, although they can be easily cleaned with a silver polishing cloth.

14K & 18K YELLOW GOLD PLATED 925 STERLING SILVER PIECES:
- It is not advised to use a silver polishing cloth on our 14k or 18k yellow gold plated pieces as excessive polishing can dull the pieces golden finish and shine.

NATURAL FRESHWATER PEARL PIECES:
- Clean your pearls after each wear. Simply wipe with a soft cloth or microfibre cloth, either damp or dry, to remove any skin oils or dirt. A drop of olive oil on the cloth can be used to help maintain the lustre.
- If damp, lay them on a soft cloth to dry before storing them. If they are strung on silk thread be aware that silk shrinks if it gets wet but will also stretch if hung to dry.
- Avoid contact with water if possible, and avoid using soap, detergents, chemicals, brushes, and ultrasonic cleaners.
